The 2022 Sedona Conference on Trade Secrets will be held at The Brown Palace Hotel in Denver, Colorado on Monday-Tuesday, May 9-10, 2022. A welcome reception will be held on the evening of Sunday, May 8, from 5:30-7:30 pm MT.

We will close the Conference with a Judicial Roundtable, comprising some of our Judicial Advisors who have graciously and generously participated in our WG12 efforts to date.
Presentation of The Sedona Conference Lifetime Achievement Award for Contributions to Intellectual Property Law:
We will award The Sedona Conference Lifetime Achievement Award for Contributions to Intellectual Property Law to Jim Pooley, our Chair of WG12 at its creation and now Chair Emeritus. Please join us in celebrating Jim's many accomplishments and contributions to intellectual property law, including leading the efforts of The Sedona Conference Working Group 12.
Hotel Reservation Information:
We have obtained a very favorable room rate at The Brown Palace Hotel of $219 per night (plus tax) for a limited block of rooms on the evenings of Sunday and Monday, May 8 & 9. The government rate of $195 is available for full-time government employees. For those who wish to arrive early, leave late, or otherwise extend their stay, the room rate is available for three days preceding and three days following the dates of the room block, but subject to room availability. Accordingly, if you wish to book for additional nights, you should do so as soon as possible. The room block expires on Sunday, April 17. Reservation information will be provided in your meeting reservation confirmation email.
Health and Safety Protocols:
The Sedona Conference encourages all conference attendees to be vaccinated. We will follow all federal, state, and local health and safety protocols in effect at the time and place of the conference. The seating at the conference will be spread out and take full advantage of the size of the conference room. We will provide color-coded lanyards for your name tag that will signify you comfort level with social interaction at the conference. Green: I am open to shaking hands and conversing in less than 6 feet proximity while still respecting personal space; Yellow: I welcome conversation but prefer extra personal space, so please keep your distance and don't touch; Red: Please keep at least 6 feet of distance from me when conversing and don't touch.
